Alyssum
Believe it or Sweet Alyssum—with it’s masses of tiny blossoms packing a lot of sweet fragrance—is a member of the mustard family! Alyssum looks delicate but it can handle both heat and drought. It works well in hanging baskets, borders and planters.
It likes full sun and well drained soil. It doesn’t demand much maintenance but if you have some time to trim the stems back a bit after they bloom, they’ll keep performing well!
